Hi Jules,
Clare and I just wanted to drop you a quick note to say thank you. The album looks amazing, we are absolutely delighted with it and really couldn’t have hoped for more. I have lost count of the number of times we have looked through it already! We will treasure it forever!
Having seen the photos on your website and portfolios when we first met you, we never had any doubt that the quality of your photographs would be exceptional (friends at work who have now seen the album all agree that it is the best wedding album they have ever seen!), however what really stood out for us was your contribution to the wedding day itself, whether it was Jules stepping in and organising the guests for us, or making fun of one of my brothers, Sue fixing Clare’s hair and all the encouraging smiles and advice through the day. You helped everyone feel completely at ease, which in turn shows in your photographs. When it was time to leave, we were just as sad to see you go as the rest of our guests!
Make sure you stay in touch and hopefully we will see you soon, whether at friends’ weddings in the future or for a training day (maybe even with a new lens by then!).

Dear Julian and Sue,
On behalf of us both, I wanted to write and say how delighted we are with our wedding album which we collected today.
In fact delighted doesn’t really do it justice – we are absolutely blown away. Not just by the album but all the photographs are truly fantastic. Every single aspect of the day has been captured beautifully – we will treasure these memories in print all our lives.
Of course it’s not just our opinion – every one of our family and friends have loved the photographs – I’m sure there will be lots of requests for prints.
I have to have say the whole process of working with you from start to finish has been superb – you have both been so warm, friendly and helpful – you have also become friends.
Kelly and I put a lot of time and effort into planning our wedding and choosing the everything to make a special day. Without a shadow of a doubt the decision to book you was the best one we made.
We would have no hesitation in recommending you to any future prospective clients – as far as we’re concerned every wedding should get the “Porter treatment”!! Worth every penny.

Dear Jules & Sue
From the moment I first emailed you, and you emailed straight back from your sun lounger in Florida, you made us feel like we were the most important people in the world. You were the first of three wedding photographers we had appointments with; after our meeting we cancelled the rest! You and Sue made us feel like friends rather than prospective client’s right from the start and we loved your informal fun approach to photography and all the professionalism backing it up.
We loved getting to know you through our engagement photo shoot and had so much fun trying to keep Smokey, our dog, under control whilst in the New Forest! You have the patience of a saint! It didn’t feel like a photo shoot – more like friends out for a walk taking some fun shots along the way. Getting to know you beyond doubt made us a lot more at ease and trusting of you on our wedding day.
From the moment you and Sue arrived at my parent’s on the morning of the wedding you brought a buzz and laughter to the day. You were both never once intrusive, but always ready to catch the memories as they happened. I absolutely love looking back on our beautiful album that you designed as it captures such fleeting moments. Moments that would have passed Jo and me by unnoticed had it not been for you.
All of our guests have commented on how wonderful the photos are and how fun and friendly you both were on the day. In fact I think you are now friends with a lot of them on Facebook! Having been to other weddings I can definitely say that you aren’t the typical, formal wedding photographer; you captured so much more than the formal group shots, such as people chatting amongst themselves not noticing they were being photographed, and an amazing shot of our young flower girl looking through the gap between Jo and me at the Altar. We can never thank you enough for capturing everything we could have wished for and more.
I can’t wait for the next photo shoot with you – ours is now a friendship I hope will last a lot longer than our wedding day.

Dear Julian and Sue,
WOW – Thank you, thank you, thank you, for the wonderful photographs you took of our wedding – we can’t believe how lovely they are and how well they exactly captured our day. As you know, we were keen to have photographs that captured moments and emotions rather than have more traditional static photographs and these are even better than we could possibly have hoped for. The “taster” that you put up just 2 days after our wedding is amazing – we were just expecting a few photos, not a story set to music. It is so beautiful and moving. We both cried when we saw it. On a personal note I wanted to thank you for being so supportive on the day. I am usually very self conscious about being photographed, but it was like having two extra friends that we had known for years there, and I completely forgot that you were taking photographs! You were both fantastic and got on fabulously with everyone from the youngest child to the hotel co-ordinator, whilst still being professional and helping to guide us, which made our day completely stress free. (Also, thank you for organising the children and their confetti – I hadn’t even noticed anyone had confetti, for taking the time to talk to my cousin who is a keen photographer, for talking to my friend’s slightly drunk boyfriend – the one who said you were the best photographer he has ever met, and for making my sister laugh!). Everyone has said it was the best wedding that they had ever been to and you were definitely a part of that. We can’t wait to meet up again to choose the photographs for our albums. Firstly we’d like to thank you for capturing our wedding day so beautifully at Cain Manor, you did an amazing job and all our friends and family have commented on how great the wedding album is. You have caught such special moments; the expressions on faces during the speeches, how nervous we both were in the morning, all the tears we shed during the ceremony – you never missed a thing! I was concerned that we should of got the wedding recorded, but we really didn’t need to – your pictures say a thousand words! We had such fun working with you both, you felt more like guests at our wedding than our photographers. You made the whole day fun and everyone commented on how great our photographer was. I’m so pleased I found you on the internet!! So, thank you again for everything, you really looked after us and thanks for all the care you put into our wedding. You obviously love photography and this has reflected in your work. You have made us both so very happy as we have a beautiful album which will bring back memories in all the years to come. I know that we will see each other again on the next occasion we need capturing – and we’ll definitely be inviting you to our house warming party – just don’t forget to bring your camera!! Dear Julian and Sue, Thank you so much for the fantastic photos you took of our wedding, they completely blew us away (and the taster you sent the day after the wedding made me cry!). I usually avoid looking at myself in pictures but you managed to capture me looking relaxed and really happy all the time, so much so that I can’t stop looking at your gallery online! You even managed to get Ian smiling in most of the pictures, for which you deserve a medal!!It was great having you there for most of the day, from us getting ready until after the meal, some of the pictures of the girls and I getting ready are my favourites (who would have known I could look good in a towelling dressing gown!). It felt like you were friends attending our wedding (with cameras!), not just photographers we had employed for the day. A special thank you to Sue for helping me organise my dress in all the pictures (and teaching me how to walk in it!), I seemed to accumulate half the garden in-between shots! You really put us at ease throughout all the photography and your humour kept us going when our cheeks were starting to hurt! Everyone has commented on not only how gorgeous the pictures are, but how lovely you both were too. Many people I’ve shown the pictures to, including my dressmaker have been very impressed with your work – your love and skill for capturing those special moments definitely shows. So thank you again for capturing our day so perfectly, the only problem now is having to decide which pictures go in the album, there are far too many fabulous ones to choose from! Best wishes,

Dear Jules and Sue We would just like to put into writing how you helped to make our wedding day so perfect. You arrived around 11ish (I think) the girls told me “I think the photographers are here” and a huge smile came across my face. Another thing to cross off my mental list I thought!! You both came to my room where the girlie preparations were well under way for the day. It was rather busy in the room but hopefully I made you feel welcome and was more than comfortable with you both being around. You were both so easy to get on with….All our guests commented on how friendly you both were and extremely easy to work with. The official photos seemed so easy to put together. Everyone was in their places and not a lot of shouting or hanging around was required. We felt you were more like friends and part of the celebrations rather than our photographers, which is how we think it should be. You were more than happy to adjust to our requirements, a few extra pictures, an outside trip to our “private” location, it was just perfect. We would highly recommend you to any of our friends and would certainly use your expertise in the future. Just a HUGE thank you to you both for being the perfect couple! Oh, actually I think thats meant to be us
